UNIONDALE, N.Y., April 17, 2009 – The Electronic Components Association (ECA) and Hearst Electronics Group have launched the ECA Digital Library ( http://www.ecadigitallibrary.com ), the world’s largest collection of technical papers related to the electronic components industry. Thanks to the support of ECA, Hearst and corporate sponsors, all papers are available as free downloads.
The ECA Digital Library provides access to more than 1,700 technical papers presented at ECA-sponsored conferences and symposia, including ECTC, IWCS and the CARTS series. The papers feature applications and technologies for advanced passive and active electronic components, materials and packaging, modeling and simulation, interconnectivity, optoelectronics, and many supporting disciplines.
“ECA, with partners from professional societies and national trade associations, supports a wide portfolio of conferences where industry experts present papers and presentations on leading-edge electronics technologies,” says Bob Willis, ECA president. “The ECA Digital Library provides easy access to this knowledge base for engineers and technicians at their worksites anywhere in the world.”
Papers in the ECA Digital Library are searchable by title, abstract or author and can be viewed as a directory of papers from each conference. Individual papers are available for download in pdf format. Complete proceedings from conferences can be ordered as either hardcopy books or CDs at http://www.ecaus.org.
